Both inshore with yellowtail and some yellowfin as well as the offshore tuna produced great catches.  Of note over the period for bird watchers were the sighting of two  wandering albatross, a rare sighting at any time of year particulary summer as well as two spectacled petrels.

We produced a 100% success on the 8 trips both inshore for yellowtail as well as offshore for yellowfin tuna - but this is to be expected from Cape Town’s top charter boat this season… Capt Dave even managed to get in on the action and landed a 42 kg yellowfin taken on fly on 10kg tippet fishing IGFA rules in only 70 minutes…

We then had a double hookup, also on big yellows but the lines crossed resulting in a double burn off - Damn. We hooked up again though on a very hard fighting 87kg yellow which took over an hour to bring to boat. All in all a good day.
