Ron and mates joined us for an inshore yellowtail charter. We started the day with schools of thousands of common dolphins and seals feasting on some big schools of anchovy. The weather played in our favour with flat seas and no wind, all setting the scene for a great days fishing. The tail bit consistently throughout the morning with a preference for the trolled lures but also taking a couple on the spinner. Much to our surprise we also caught a number of small snoek that were feeding inbetween the tail. All in all a great day out.

We had a great day out with some russian clients, good weather and good action throughout the day! Biggest yellow weighed in at 89 kgs! It put up a fanatastic fight of 90 minutes. Also had a full up strike on good sized longfin.

Dawie and mates joined us as return clients for a tuna charter. After a hard days fishing we found a school of yellowfin boating 3 and loosing a beast of a fish estimated at around the 90kg mark as the line parted company…. just one of those things. Great catch Guys!

We saw a grey-headed albatross, a very rare sighting in the cape, second one I have seen in many years of offshore fishing!

A turkish contingent fished with us for a few days as part of a competition organised by Sean from Hooked on Africa. We managed to produce the goods with a 77kg yellowfin taken on the backlines and taking top honours and first prize in the competition! Well done Capt. Dave!
