Now what better birthday present can one get than a big game deep sea fishing charter? Nothing springs to mind especially when one has excellent weather, good fishing, and plenty of ice cold beer… This set the scene for last saturdays trip out into the deep.
After travelling about 26 miles offshore we put our lines out and within minutes had the first strike. The first fish boated was a sizeable longfin tuna. We stopped and started spinning and baiting the tuna up to the boat and within a few minutes had the next fish hooked. All in all we landed over a dozen longfin and lost several. Two of which fell to a large Mako shark that hung around the boat. There were also huge numbers of blue sharks cruising around under the boat throughout the day.

Here is a comment received by one of the clients….
“Dear Dave
Thank you so very much for making our day so memorable on Saturday. It had to be one of the most exciting days of my life.
I was very impressed with your professionalism as well as your crew. The drinks were plenty and the Rolls made a good meal. Your boat was impressively fast and comfortable even with 7 of us.
I was surprised to experience such a jam packed day with non stop action, from the bird life to the sharks to our catches. When I look back it was like a dream… I think that’s due to a combination of the adrenaline pumping and the rocking boat
Last night we already feasted on a fraction of the tuna we took home, it was delicious.
Kind Regards
A satisfied client”

What a start to the second tuna season of the year! Two Oceans Sport Fishing Charters managed to catch the first yellowfin tuna of the season for the fourth year in a row, this is a record we can be proud of! The yellowfin and longfin have moved into our waters and are providing good catches. Our biggest yellowfin over the past week was a 86 kg fish.
So for all of you keen fishermen out there - its time to dust off the fishing caps and get into gear and book a trip. We are already getting booked up so be warned book early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to hooking you into your dream fish and most probably your personal best yellowfin tuna. See you on the water - Capt. Dave

What a fantastic months fishing! We were so busy hauling in giant yellowfin tuna that I did not get time to update my catch report. We had a number of exceptional weather days and delighted clients many of whom caught their dream fish and personal bests with us. On several trips the entire charter caught the biggest fish of their life! With our excellent catch record on big tuna this is what our clients have come to expect from us and what I can gladly say we have delivered on again this month, maintaining our 100% yellowfin tuna catch record from the begining of last season. Here’s to a great May! cheers for now Capt. Dave.
“Hi Dave
Just a short note in recognition of the excellent ‘entertainement’ you provided to myself and clients this past season. I think this is the 5/6th time I have taken clients on charter with you. As with all fishing trips one always entertains the possibility of ’striking out’ - but I find myself thinking ” how big are they going to be this time ? Its a given we will catch! ”
I have been on several different charter boats, but none that incorporate one into the crew like your set up - Its a hands on, in the thick of it, tuna fishing experience. When we get off the boat back at the dock, we know we have had a real days fishing, the tuna we take home (and invite as many friends as possible around so we can impress them with war stories of how hard and how long it fought ) feels like its been earned.
I have spoken to seasoned tuna fisherman that can hardly believe that I have caught several 90kg tuna in a season, let alone in one trip. My clients never stop asking when I am organising the next trip, its been a brilliant relationship building exercise.
I look forward to several more successfull fishing trips again this season.
regards Lucas”

“Hi Dave
I would just like to thank you for a fantastic day out. Every one agreed you could not have worked harder to ensure our success . We have recommended you to everyone we know so hopefully you may get some booking from them. There are a couple of us hoping to arrange another day with you but it will depend on crew rotas. If you still have the photos of us with the fish I would be extremely gratefull if you could email them to me.
Once again thanks very much
Regards Craig”
