After a couple weeks of terrible weather we were able to get back out on the water. Phillip and his brother and father joined us for a yellowfin charter. After a slow start to the day we managed to find the tuna. We were frustrated at first with two good fish pulling the hook. But were rewarded for our efforts with a full house strike on yellowfin which created chaos within seconds…. We were able to boat all 4 tuna this time round. Great Going Guys!

Brocq is from the Bahamas and as a professional fisherman has caught practically every species of big game fish except a big yellowfin tuna….. He has been wanting to land one for years and being in Cape Town grabbed the oppourtunity to fish with us…. Needless to say Capt. Dave produced the goods again.
” Thanks so much for an awesome experience, what a fantastic day. I will never forget the chaos with several rods going off at the same time and that school of yellowfin feeding just meters from the boat. It has been my dream to land a big yellowfin tuna since I was small and you really made my trip worthwhile.” Brock

Paul joined us for his second trip out and Maurice shared the trip with him. We had beautiful weather with flat seas and after getting us into the right spot promptly hooked into the first yellowfin of the morning after about 5 minutes. We had a great run boating 5 yellowfin and loosing one.
We also had a professional team of cameramen onboard filming the action as we are busy filming a promo dvd soon to added to the website….. Can’t wait for this one….
Well done guys on a great catch. Again conditions were tough with very few fish coming out on the other boats and the 25 competion boats only catching 5 very small fish, and most guys catching nothing…. Just goes to show Capt. Dave knows a thing or two about catching yellowfin tuna, thats why he is known as the yellowfin specialist.
“A quick word of thanks for a fantastic day of fishing today - boating 5 yellowfin tuna certainly exceeded my expectations of the day. Anybody thinking of booking a trip with Two Oceans Sport Fishing should know that if the Yellowfin Tuna are out there, Capt Dave Christie will find them (when many other skippers don’t!) and that there can be no other skipper in South Africa with more dedication and enthusiasm for the sport! This has to be the best tuna fishing to be had anywhere!” Paul Cameron

Lucas and his mates joined us again for some offshore tuna fishing. Lucas has an uncanny ability to book on good fishing days. We have caught excellent tuna with him on all of the 6 or so trips he has done with us. So the stage was set - no pressure Capt. Dave….
Although the weather was great the fishing was tough, so tough in fact that the 25 odd competition boats fishing the October comp for their club colours and provincial colours did not catch anything.
So the guys were happy that we managed to get them into two nice yellowfin both of which were brought to boat and Lucas managed to retain his pole position with the biggest fish.

Paul, Grant and Sven joined us for an offshore tuna fishing experience. The weather was a bit choppy to start but calmed down later on to beautiful weather. The tuna were not playing ball so much so that only two small yellowfin were caught amoungst the 30 odd boats that were out. Even so Capt. Dave managed to hook into a 73 kg fish which Sven fought and landed.
“Hi Dave, I just wanted to thank you again!!! You really made a dream come true, wanted to do this for over 4 years now!!!” Sven
